Conduct

The new method of conducting

Whilst most conducting schools focus on technique, Conduct goes further as it takes a holistic approach. Conduct puts conducting in a new and broader context. With Conduct, conductors achieve more intensity, expressiveness and depth. In contrast to conventional training courses, Conduct does not focus on movement, but on the energy underlying movement.

conduct.career is a conducting training based on the method of the same name. With this technique, your conducting style will achieve more intensity, expressiveness and depth. Peter Werlen – the founder of this approach – offers various training and further education modules. These can be attended individually or in groups and are aimed at students as well as experienced conductors in a professional or ambitious environment.

Peter Werlen

Peter Werlen conducts orchestras and choirs at home and abroad, lectures and teaches at numerous institutions. He works as a voice trainer, choir coach or guest conductor (Cantuccini Brugg, Zuger Kantorei, vocal ensemble Voices Münchenstein, Swiss youth choir). He also led choir weeks at home and abroad, such as the Autumn Singing Week in the Laudinella St. Moritz Cultural Center, the Mozart Week in Herzberg, the Upper Valais Singing Week and the International Europe Cantat Meetings in Nevers and Linz.
